1. The Verse of the Throne (Ayatul Kursi)

Benefit: Whoever says this in the morning will be protected from the Jinn until the evening.

• Arabic: أَعُوذُ بِاللهِ مِنَ الشَّيْطَانِ الرَّجِيمِ: اللّهُ لاَ إِلَـهَ إِلاَّ هُوَ الْحَيُّ الْقَيُّومُ لاَ تَأْخُذُهُ سِنَةٌ وَلاَ نَوْمٌ...

• Amharic Phonetics: አዑዙ ቢላሂ ሚነሸይጣኒ ረጂም፡ አላሁ ላ ኢላሃ ኢላ ሁወል ሀዩል ቀዩም...

• English: Allah! There is no god but He, the Living, the Self-Subsisting, Eternal. No slumber can seize Him nor sleep...

2. Remembrance of the Morning

• Arabic: أَصْبَحْنَا وَأَصْبَحَ الْمُلْكُ لِلَّهِ، وَالْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ، لاَ إِلَهَ إلاَّ اللهُ وَحْدَهُ لاَ شَرِيكَ لَهُ

• Amharic Phonetics: አስበህና ወአስበሃል ሙልኩ ሊላህ፡ ወልሃምዱ ሊላህ፡ ላ ኢላሃ ኢለላሁ ወህደሁ ላ ሸሪከ ለሁ

• English: We have entered a new day and with it all dominion is Allah's. All praise is to Allah. None has the right to be worshipped but Allah alone, who has no partner.

3. Seeking Protection (3 Times)

• Arabic: بِسْمِ اللهِ الَّذِي لَا يَضُرُّ مَعَ اسْمِهِ شَيْءٌ فِي الْأَرْضِ وَلَا فِي السَّمَاءِ وَهُوَ السَّمِيعُ الْعَلِيمُ

• Amharic Phonetics: ቢስሚላሂለዚ ላ የዱሩ መዓስሚሂ ሸይኡን ፊል አርዲ ወላ ፊሰማኢ ወሁወ ሰሚኡል አሊም

• English: In the Name of Allah, who with His Name nothing can cause harm in the earth nor in the heavens, and He is the All-Hearing, the All-Knowing.

4. Satisfaction with Islam (3 Times)

• Arabic: رَضِيتُ بِاللَّهِ رَبَّاً، وَبِالْإِسْلَامِ دِيناً፣ وَبِمُحَمَّدٍ صلى الله عليه وسلم نَبِيّاً

• Amharic Phonetics: ረዲቱ ቢላሂ ረበን፡ ወቢል ኢስላሚ ዲነን፡ ወቢ ሙሀመዲን ሰለላሁ አለይሂ ወሰለም ነቢየን

• English: I am pleased with Allah as my Lord, with Islam as my religion, and with Muhammad (SAW) as my Prophet.

5. Sayyidul Istighfar (The Master Prayer for Forgiveness)

Benefit: If you say this with conviction and die that day, you will enter Paradise.

• Arabic: اللَّهُمَّ أَنْتَ رَبِّي لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا أَنْتَ، خَلَقْتَنِي وَأَنَا عَبْدُكَ، وَأَنَا عَلَى عَهْدِكَ وَوَعْدِكَ مَا اسْتَطَعْتُ

• Amharic Phonetics: አላሁመ አንተ ረቢ ላ ኢላሃ ኢላ አንተ፡ ኸለቅተኒ ወአነ አብዱከ፡ ወአነ አላ አህዲከ ወወእዲከ መስተጠዕቱ...

• English: O Allah, You are my Lord, there is no god but You. You created me and I am Your servant, and I abide by Your covenant and promise as best I can.

🕌 1. Duʿāʾ Before Sleeping

Arabic

اللَّهُمَّ بِاسْمِكَ أَمُوتُ وَأَحْيَا

Amharic (ፊደል – phonetic)

አላሁማ ቢስሚካ አሙቱ ወአህያ

English

O Allah, in Your name I die and I live.

🕌 2. Seeking Forgiveness and Protection

Arabic

اللَّهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لِي ذَنْبِي، وَاهْدِ قَلْبِي، وَاحْفَظْنِي مِنْ كُلِّ سُوءٍ

Amharic (ፊደል – phonetic)

አላሁማ እግፊር ሊ ዘንቢ ወእህዲ ቀልቢ ወአህፋዝኒ ሚን ኩሊ ሱእ

English

O Allah, forgive my sins, guide my heart, and protect me from all harm.

اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْلَمْتُ نَفْسِي إِلَيْكَ، وَفَوَّضْتُ أَمْرِي إِلَيْكَ، وَأَلْجَأْتُ ظَهْرِي إِلَيْكَ، رَغْبَةً وَرَهْبَةً إِلَيْكَ

አላሁማ እንኒ አስላምቱ ነፍሲ ኢላይካ ወፈወድቱ አምሪ ኢላይካ ወአልጃእቱ ዘህሪ ኢላይካ ረግበተን ወረህበተን ኢላይካ

English

O Allah, I submit myself to You, entrust my affairs to You, and turn to You in hope and fear.

🕌 4. Protection Duʿāʾ

Arabic

اللَّهُمَّ احْفَظْنِي بِعَيْنِكَ الَّتِي لَا تَنَامُ، وَاكْنُفْنِي بِرُكْنِكَ الَّذِي لَا يُرَامُ

Amharic (ፊደል – phonetic)

አላሁማ አህፋዝኒ ቢዓይኒካ አለቲ ላ ተናሙ ወአክኑፍኒ ቢሩክኒካ አለዚ ላ ዩራሙ

English

O Allah, protect me with Your eye that never sleeps and shelter me with Your protection.

🕌 5. Peaceful Sleep Duʿāʾ

Arabic

اللَّهُمَّ اجْعَلْ نَوْمِي رَاحَةً لِجَسَدِي، وَسَكِينَةً لِقَلْبِي، وَذِكْرًا لَكَ

አላሁማ እጅዓል ነውሚ ራሀተን ሊጀሰዲ ወሰኪናተን ሊቀልቢ ወዝክረን ለካ

English

O Allah, make my sleep rest for my body, peace for my heart, and remembrance of You.

بِاسْمِكَ اللَّهُمَّ أَضَعُ جَنْبِي، وَبِكَ أَرْفَعُهُ، إِنْ أَمْسَكْتَ نَفْسِي فَاغْفِرْ لَهَا، وَإِنْ أَرْسَلْتَهَا فَاحْفَظْهَا

ቢስሚካ አላሁማ አዳዕ ጃንቢ ወቢካ አርፋዑሁ ኢን አምሳክታ ነፍሲ ፋግፊር ለሃ ወኢን አርሳልታሃ ፋአህፋዝሃ

In Your name, O Allah, I lie down and rise. If You take my soul, forgive it, and if You return it, protect it.
